EMMA LOU WILLIAMS BASS
Emma Lou Williams Bass passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011. She was born in Nash County, Rocky Mount, North Carolina on August 14, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Cooper White Williams and Emma Davis Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband Linwood Bass; sisters, Ruby Gold Barnes, Doris Thames, Josephine Cooper and a brother, Wilbur Dean Williams.

Survivors include five nephews and two nieces. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Bergland officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
