NICHOLAS BUNN BODDIE JR.
Nick Boddie, 84, passed away December 2, 2011. He was born July 8, 1927 in Nash County son of the late Nicholas Bunn Boddie, Sr. and Lucy Mayo Boddie.

In addition to his parents, Nick was predeceased by his sister, Lucy Ann Boddie Brewer.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betsy Bunting Boddie, daughters Bryan Boddie Hancock and husband Mike, Anne Boddie Mosley and husband Michael, son Mac McInnis and wife Mary Kay, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph B. Brewer and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Monday, December, 5, 2011 at twelve o’clock noon at First Presbyterian Church of Rocky Mount with the Reverend Peter Bynum officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 153 North Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, or Boy Scouts of America, East Carolina Council, PO Box 1698, Kinston, NC 28503.
