JOHNNY MIZE WOOTEN
Johnny Mize Wooten, age 70, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia Farris Wooten; his son, Jay Wooten and wife Leah; his daughter, Mary Kathryn (Kathy) McDonald of Suwanee GA; four grandchildren; brother, Aubrey Wooten and wife Jeannie of Fort Worth TX; sister-in-law, Doris Wooten of Rocky Mount; and several nieces and nephews.

Johnny, born in Tarboro, was preceded in death by his parents, Seba and Minnie Wooten; and his brother, Maddry.

Mass and a Celebration of his life will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with visitation following in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: Knights of Columbus, 745 Brassie Club Drive, Rocky Mount NC 27804 or the Marine Corps League, P.O. Box 456, Red Oak NC 27868.
