ROSALIE JOYNER WILLIAMSON
Rosalie Joyner Williamson passed away peacefully in her home on October 25, 2011, one day before her 84th birthday. She was born on October 26, 1927, in Castalia to the parents of Albert and Carrie Matthews Joyner. Her brothers, who preceded her in death were John, Robert, Cecil and Jimmie Joyner.

Rosalie is survived by three sons: Dennis Williamson of Rocky Mount, David and Cheryl Williamson of Louisville, KY, Allen and Donna Williamson of Rocky Mount; daughter, Linda and Daryl Ellis of Fort Myers, FL; brother, Albert and Pearl Joyner of Plymouth; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life was held at a graveside service on Saturday, October 29, at 11 am in Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Daryl Ellis officiating.
