CLARENCE ATLAS JOYNER
Clarence Atlas Joyner, age 64 passed away at his home October 25, 2011.

He was the son of Will and Bertha Joyner and born in Nash Co.

He is preceded in death by his wife Judy Carpenter Joyner after twenty nine years of marriage and two brothers Marvin and Alton Joyner.

He is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Joyner and husband Roger Bailey Jr. of Rocky Mount, Two sons: Charles Atlas and wife Jennifer Wooten Joyner of Nashville and James Edward Joyner and Fiancée Emily Matthews of Rocky Mount. Sister: Marie Turner of Rocky Mount and two brothers: W.C and Christine Joyner of Nashville and Eddie Lee and Becky Joyner of Conway; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service was held Friday October 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. In the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount with the Pastor Danny Harris. The interment followed in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
