ROGER FRANKLIN PANNELL
RED OAK - Roger Franklin Pannell, 66, of Red Oak, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born November 23, 1944 in Panama City, FL. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Beulah Pannell; brothers William Pannell, Lavon Pannell, and Ray Pannell of Georgia.

Roger is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dot Singletary Pannell; two sons, Michael Pannell and wife Debbie of Rocky Mount; and Matthew Pannell and wife Christy of Greenville; two grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Services were held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions can be made to the Norfolk Botanical Garden (6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518-5337).
