MARY BERNICE PULLEN HOLLAND
NASHVILLE - Mary Bernice Pullen Holland, 95, passed away on October 25, 2011.

She was born September 8, 1916 in Halifax County but resided most of her life in Nashville. She was the daughter of the late Robert Jethro and Margaret Elizabeth Hayes Pullen. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Arthur Thomas Holland, Jr. and their baby daughter, Nancy Leigh.

She is survived by her children, Robert Holland and wife Pat of Castalia, Tom Holland of Nashville, Gaye Edwards and husband Wayne of Whitakers, Margaret Hoggard and husband Rudy of Marion, 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday October 28, 2011 at 5 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Living Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Danny Harris officiating. Entombment was Saturday October 29, 2011 at 1 a.m. at Rocky Mount Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Faith PH Church Building Fund at PO Box 7725 Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
