LELA DAWES WILLIAMS LANGLEY
Lela Dawes Williams Langley, age 92, of Rocky Mount, died Friday, October 21, 2011. Born July 19, 1919 in Wilson County. She was the daughter of Henry Clay and Lizzie Mae Dawes.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Tommy Langley, her three sisters and nine brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Lela and Harry Tharrington, son Joe and Tirsa Williams of Panama, eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A funeral services was held Monday, October 24, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Myron D. Bruce and Rev. Brett D. Hill.
