JETTA “MAE” DORSEY
Jetta “Mae” Dorsey, 91, passed away on September 22, 2011. She was born in Nash County on November 8, 1919, to the late Charlie Grey and Tempie Moss Dorsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Pell and Horace Dorsey; father of her children, Sidney Ross Langley; son, Charles Sidney Langley; two grandsons, Charles Brent Langley and Christopher Scott Langley, and one granddaughter, Melissa Jo Wise.

Survivors include daughters, Peggy Vester, Joyce Proctor and husband, Ralph all of Rocky Mount; sons, Bobby Langley of Rocky Mount and Garland Langley and wife, Cheryl of Battleboro; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A service was held at 2  p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Burial  followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8818, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
