Geralene Robbins Hill, 97, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011. She was born in Rocky Mount, Nash County on January 7, 1914 to Elder Lawrence Robbins and Kate Williams Robbins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Hill and sisters, Alice Hedgepeth, Mary Ruth Burgess, Neries Kermon and twin sister, Angelene Spain.
She is survived by Geri Haskins, daughter and son, Chancey Hill and wife Brenda; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, Harley and Will.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Michael Cloer officiating.
The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made to The Gideons International, Rocky Mount Camp, P.O. Box 1851, Rocky Mount NC 27802-1851.
Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount.
