Goldie Alberta Linder Miller, 88, passed away on August 25, 2011. She was born December 24, 1922 in Cedar Rapids Iowa, daughter of Alford and Alice Linder. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clem Miller; sister, Emma Bruns, sister, Ellen Kullander; and brother, Roy Linder.
She is survived by a son, Richard Miller and wife Laura of Wendell; daughters, Marlene Everette and husband Edwin of Rocky Mount, and LuAnn Poole and husband Owen of Raleigh; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 01, 2011 at Englewood Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rob Westlund officiating. Visitation with friends and family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Englewood Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 100 S. Englewood Dr., Rocky Mount, N.C. 27804.
