Doris Williams Paris, 82, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Kermit Paris and her son, Tony Ray Paris.

Surviving are her sons, James Henry Paris of Millen, GA and Timmy Lee Paris of Rocky Mount; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 in the chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.

The family received friends immediately following the service. Interment was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pineview Cemetery.
