Christine Tevepaugh Gray, 73, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2011. She was born May 7, 1938 in Horry County, SC to the late Willie Leroy and Versie Wood Tevepaugh.
She was predeceased by her first husband William Edward Faircloth Jr. and her second husband John William Gray, Jr., sister, Betty Lou Kunde; brothers, Leroy and Freddy Lee Tevepaugh.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Williams (John) and sons Andy Faircloth (Audrey) and Donald Faircloth (Sheila), all of Rocky Mount, sisters; Josephine Deitz, Daphine Minchew and Mary Helen Tevepaugh, brothers; Willie Leroy Tevepaugh, Bobby Lee Tevepaugh, William Henry Tevepaugh, Thomas Earl Tevepaugh, James Tevepaugh and Jason Tevepaugh and stepmother, Carolyn Tevepaugh, also seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 21 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, English Road location, by the Rev. Roy Porter. Burial followed in Red Oak Cemetery.
