ROCKY MOUNT - Funeral services for Aaron “A.C.” Staton, 62, who died on Friday, August 5, 2011 were Tuesday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at Pine Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed in Gardens of Gethsemane cemetery with Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating.
Surviving: wife, Lorraine R. Staton of the home; daughter, Crystal Staton of Rocky Mount; son, Maurice Staton, of the home; granddaughter, Jazlynn A. Gabriel-Bobel of Rocky Mount; sisters, Alice J. Staton, Vivian Richardson, Beverly Staton, all of Rocky Mount, Brenda Faye Joyner of Washington D.C.; brothers, William Bethea, Charles Staton, George Staton, Freddie Mack Staton, Billy Dean Staton, Alvin Ray Staton, all of Rocky Mount, Raymond C. Staton of Nashville.
Visitation was at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Monday, Aug. 8, from 3-8 p.m.
