INEZ FREEMAN PROCTOR
Inez Freeman Proctor, 83, passed away, Tuesday, August 2, 2011. She was born March 8, 1928 in Bartow County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late, Robert and Annie Shelton Freeman.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Proctor, Brother, Calvin Freeman and two sisters, Mae Maner and Lois White.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Troy L. Proctor, Sr., one son, Troy “Butch” L. Proctor Jr. and wife Bonita of Rocky Mount, one daughter, Sandra Joyner of Rocky Mount, three sisters, Betty Simmons and husband Norman of Rome Georgia, Willie Rose Jones of Rocky Mount and Rachel Cabatit of Rome, Georgia, three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.

A funeral service was held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation followed after the service.
