Georgia Davis Roberson, 61, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She was born March 27, 1950 in Nash County, daughter of the late George Arlo Davis and Esma Ford Davis. She was also preceded in death by her beloved aunt, Lillie H. Ford.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Douglas S. Roberson Jr.; two sons, Brandon S. Roberson and Douglas S. Roberson III and wife Amanda; two grandchildren; sister, Delores Davis Joyner and husband Ray Joyner; brother-in-law, Gus Roberson and wife Carolyn; brother-in-law, Randy Roberson and wife Ann.
A service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Grisham officiating. Visitation with the family was from 1:30 - 3 p.m. prior to the service. Burial was at Pineview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Hospice of Nash General, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount NC 27804.
Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
