MINNIE LEE PROCTOR DRAKE
Minnie Lee Proctor Drake, 94, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011. She was born August 12, 1916 in Wilson County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Viola King Proctor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence B. Drake; and her daughter, Evelyn Tyson.

She is survived by her son, C.B. Drake, Jr. of Nashville; daughters, Frances Raynor and husband Joe of Rocky Mount, Margaret Jones and husband Harry of Rocky Mount, Linda Thomas and husband Ronald of Elm City, and Peggy Cruz and Fiancé Floyd Little of Greenville; brother, Donnelly Proctor of Rocky Mount; thirteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Peoples Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Grogan officiating. Burial followd at Red Oak Cemetery.
