REVEREND LARRY BRUCE AVERY
Reverend Larry Bruce Avery, 61, passed away Friday, June 17, 2011. He was born in Erwin on November 19, 1949 to the late Clarence and Evelyn Thompson Avery. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Avery.

L.B. is survived by his wife, Sue Avery; daughters, Tammy Sue Jarman and husband Chuck, Renea Avery Dew, Katherine Grace Lucas and husband, Philip; six grandchildren; brother, John Wayne Avery and wife, Carolyn.

A service was held at Ridgecrest Worship Center on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 6 pm with Bishop Jimmy Whitfield. The family received friends following the service. A committal service was held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.

Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
