Bonnie Jean Harper Hawkins, 55, passed away, Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was born May 9, 1956 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late, Rufus and Lillie Mae Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Hawkins.
She is survived by one son, Curtis Hawkins, Jr. and wife Christina; one daughter, Pamela Hawkins of Dortches; two brothers, William Harper and wife Pamela of Nashville, Albert Harper of Castalia; two sisters, Mary Hawkins and Judy Harper both of Nashville; four grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, June 20, 2011 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Hawkins Family Cemetery in Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Bonnie Hawkins.
