CAROL MALONE
SHARPSBURG – Carol J. Malone, 60, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007. Funeral services were held Feb. 20 at the Mount Caramel Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Brewington of Raleigh; one stepdaughter, Antoniette Davis of Whitakers; one stepson, Herbert Davis Jr. of Whitakers; nine sisters, Annie Richardson of Louisburg, Dorothy Drake and Mildred Richardson, both of Rocky Mount, Bertha McClain of Pinetops, Shirley Evans of Raleigh, Dixie Lucas of Spring Hope, Gloria Congleton of Roanoke Rapids, and Annette Joyner and Hattie Jean Joyner, both of Red Oak; three brothers, James Joyner and Johnnie Joyner Jr., both of Spring Hope and Bobby Joyner of Valdosta, Ga.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
