LOU JEAN DEANS WINSTEAD
Lou Jean Deans Winstead, 81, passed away Saturday May 14, 2011 in Nash General Hospital.

Born in Nash County on July 31 ,1929, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Ora Vester Deans. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Walter “Marvin” Winstead, Sr.

She is survived by her sons: Marvin Winstead, Jr. and Gregory Winstead and wife, Cathy of Nashville. Two sisters: Margerene D. Lamm and Inez D. Hinton of Rocky Mount.

The family  received friends Sunday, May 15th, 2011 from 7-9 pm at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. Funeral services to honor her life were held 2 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Tim Griffin officiating. The interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
