LOUISE PHILLIPS MCKEEL
WILSON - Louise Phillips McKeel passed away on April 30, 2011.

Mrs. McKeel was born March 5, 1919 in the Evansdale Community in Wilson Co. to James Thurman and Lossie Price Phillips.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Elm City Baptist Church by Rev. Gene Wells and Rev. Melissa Netherly. Interment followed in the Stantonsburg Cemetery. The family received friends Monday from 1 until 2:30 P.M. prior to the service.

She is survived by her daughter, Ernie Lou McKeel Hooks and husband, Mike of Winterville;   brothers and sisters, Ruffin Phillips of Rocky Mount, Darrell Phillips and wife, Glenda of Laurinburg, Eula Mae Corbett of Ayden, Edgar Phillips and wife, Janice of Greensboro, Mary Alice Wells and husband, Talmage of Rocky Mount, and Al Phillips and wife, Becky of Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McKeel, a brother Luther Phillips, and a sister Nancy Wiggins.
