RUTH MCCULLERS MORGAN
Ruth McCullers Morgan, centenarian, age 103, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011. Born on August 09, 1907 in Calhoun County, Alabama, Ruth was the second youngest of 11 children belonging to James and Emma McCullers.

Mrs. Morgan was the last of her generation. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.P. Morgan in 1961; her step-son, Val Morgan;  her parents, and ten brothers and sisters.

A “Going Home” service to celebrate Ruth Morgan’s life was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Grisham and Rev. Larry Curtis officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount NC 27804.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
