MARGARET JOYNER PRIDGEN
Mrs. Margaret Joyner Pridgen, age 84, of Spring Hope, NC, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at her home.

Born March 20, 1926 in Nash County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Fannie Mae Vick Joyner.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Ernest Pridgen of Spring Hope; a brother, Otha Joyner and his wife, Lucille, of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Edith Joyner of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Perry, and her husband, Yancey; and a brother, Norman Earl Joyner.

Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. Rev. Reuben Batchelor and Pastor Dave Grogan officiated.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

The family received friends following the service at the funeral home. At other times, they will be at the home of a niece, Carolyn P. Baker, 7769 South NC Highway 58, Elm City, NC 27822.
