Tara Lynn Stewart, 38, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011. She was born December 11, 1972 in Norfolk, Virginia, daughter of Carroll F. and Bruce Ann Griffin Stewart.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a son, Samuel Stewart Dimirsky of Norfolk, VA; daughter Bailey Eleanor Stewart of the home; brother, Jeremy Stewart and wife Kelcey of Rocky Mount; sister, Erin Day and husband Mike of Wake Forest; grandmothers, Eleanor Martin and Hilda Stewart both of Chesapeake, VA.
A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Brandon Dees and Rev. Mark Pridgen officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville.
