Robert Marshall Lindsey, 85, died Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was born February 10, 1925 in Nash County, son of the late B. N. and Maggie Bone Lindsey.
He is survived by a son, Larry Marshall Lindsey and wife Joyce of Wilson; one granddaughter; two great granddaughters; two sisters, Ruth Parker of Nashville, and Frances Joyner and husband Horace of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Ruben Batchelor officiating. Burial followed at the Lindsey Family Cemetery on Baker Road, Nashville, Sandy Cross Community.
