CELEBRATION CENTRAL

ROCKY MOUNT -- The past, present and future are all worth celebrating within the Nash Central High School girls basketball program -- and with good reason.

Golf season should be interesting

NASH COUNTY -- Over the past few years, the Big East Conference boys golf season was similar to the recreation of an old movie -- there may be a few different plot twists along the way, but you know how the story will end.
And on the Big East golf scene, that ending would feature recent powerhouse Roanoke Rapids accepting the league's team championship trophy.
But with the Jackets in rebuilding mode, this spring's adaptation promises to bring fresh new ideas -- and probably a new champion.
