Just hours after unearthing human remains of a woman missing since 2004, the Nash County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest. Kimberly Hancock, 49, was charged with one count of first degree homicide for the murder of Deborah Elaine Deans. She did not receive a bond. Deans was reported missing in January 2004. Hancock was reportedly the last person to see Deans alive. The arrest was made possible after a tip was sent to the Fighting Crime site a little over a week ago.
A woman authorities allege is responsible for the 2004 murder of a Nash County woman is also the step sister of a Franklin/Nash County man who's been missing since 2009.
Authorities now are trying to see if their are any dots to connect.
