Tabernacle Praise Church
The church will hold a yard sale on Saturday, June 6 from 7 a.m. until. The yard sale is a fundraiser for Jennifer Cooper who is at the UNC Chapel Hill Burn Center. The church is located at 127 E. Lighthouse Baptist Church
Lighthouse Baptist is a new church in Nashville led by Pastor Allen Williams. The church currently meets at 1703 Reges Store Rd. in the Beulah Church of Christ's annex building (former fish fry building). Sunday morning Bible study begins at 10 am and worship at 11 am. Children and youth from preschool to 12th grade meet every other Friday night for the "Friday Night Lights" from 6:30-8:30 pm for Bible study and activities. A supper follows. Wednesday nights from 7-8 pm is Bible study and prayer time. The first Sunday of every month includes worship and a fellowship lunch. The "Recycled Teenagers (ages 55 and up) meet every 3rd Saturday. Greater Joy Baptist Church

Beulah Church of Christ

Galatia AME Church
The church will hold its Raindrops of Blessings Gala on Saturday, May 30 with a Black Tie Banquet featuring Dr. Bob C. Pulley as the kenote speaker and entertainment by the Mime Team, Praise Dancers and including Hair and Fashion, Comedy and music. Driven to Destiny Outreach Center
Women's Empowerment Supportive Service for Women of all ages is every first Monday of the month from 12 until 1 p.m. Topics include marriage, family, goals, education and life. Space is limited and seating is limited. East End Baptist Church
The church will hold a community prayer meeting and testimonial service at 7 p.m. each Wednesday evening. The service will be followed by Pastor Mack E. Battle facilitating in a verse-by-verse study of the book of First Corinthians.
Pastor Mack E. Battle and the East End Community Brotherhood Outreach Ministry will facilitate a special brotherhood session for men in the community each first and third Saturday at 11 a.m. The Sisterhood Outreach Ministry will host its annual Summer Excursion Aug. 9 through 14th. Faith Family Worship P.H. Church
The church will hold a BBQ Chicken Plate Sale on Friday, May 29 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the church at 4839 Redman Road, Rocky Mount. Philadelphia Baptist Church
The church, on Taylors Store Road, will have a BBQ Chicken Plate Sale on Friday, May 29 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Plates are $7. Eat in or pick up.

St. John Missionary Baptist
The church will sponsor a youth retreat on June 12 at 7 p.m. Youth are invited to come out for an evening of fellowship. The church will hold Vacation Bible School from June 15 to June 19 from 6 until 8:30 p.m. All ages are invited. The church is located at 5987 Red Oak Road.
