East End Baptist Church
The church holds a community prayer meeting and testimonial service at 7 p.m. each Wednesday evening followed by Pastor Mack E. Battle facilitating in a verse-by-verse study of the book of 1st Corinthians. 
The Community Brotherhood & Sisterhood Outreach Ministry of East End Baptist Church will host their Christmas Celebration on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6 p.m. Please call 252-446-5442 by November 25th if you plan to attend.
The Christian Education Department of East End Baptist Church will host its Annual Christmas Cantata on Saturday December 13th at 5 p.m. Christmas bags will be distributed to children in attendance.

Emanuel Chapel O.F.W.B. Church
The church will hold Prayer Day every Friday at noon at 635 Henry Street in Rocky Mount.  The church will hold a Prayer, Praise and Bible Study every first and third Wednesday night from 7:30 until 9 p.m. This month, the study is on 3rd Corinthians 4:1.

Southside Baptist Church
The church will have a Turkey Shoot every Friday and Saturday night from 7 until 9 p.m. from October 3 until mid-December. All proceeds will benefit mission projects. The church is located at 4948 Carter Road in Elm City.

Driven to Destiny Outreach Center
The organization will offer Winter break activities for youth Dec. 22nd,23rd, and 26th through 30th 2014 and Jan. 2, 2015. The times are from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The fee for each child will be $25.00 for the entire Winter Break and covers lunch for each day along with field trip before returning to school. Driven 2 Destiny Outreach Center Inc. will offer an after school program starting in Nov. for grades 2nd-4th from 3 until 6 p.m. The program fee is $45.00 per child.( 20% Discount if you have more then one child)  Monday-Friday and also we have a Saturday Reading Program from 12 noon until 3 p.m. for 1st-3rd Grade. Greater Joy Baptist Church

Hearts Haven Youth Ranch
Hearts Haven Youth Ranch in partnersthip with Englewood Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church will present “A Journey To Bethlehem” Friday, December 5 from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 from 5 until 9 p.m. The event is free. The evenings will include Biblical re-enactments, live animals, realistic scenery and guided tours. There will be ample parking. Reservations required for groups of 10 or more. Edgecombe/Nash and Vicinity Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows
The monthly meeting will be held on Monday, December 1 at 6 p.m. at East End Baptist Church, 928 E Highland Avenue in Rocky Mount. The association will celebrate its annual Christmas Fellowship Dinner on Monday December 8th at 6 p.m. at East End Baptist Church 928 E. Highland Avenue, Rocky Mount. This will be an evening of fun, singing Christmas carols featuring: Dr. Audrey Lucille Battle, Reverend Katie McClain, Reverend Frances Davis and First Lady Shirley Parker. The group will “spotlight” Pastor James Williams of Divine Faith Baptist Church who will share excerpts from his recent publication of his Christian experiences and serving as a soldier on the battlefields of Vietnam. Rock Creek Baptist Church
The church will feature its “Live Nativity Scenes,” where you can see and hear the Christmas Story, December 12, 13 and 14 between 6:30 and 8 p.m. at the church, 1238 Rock Creek Drive in Nashville. There is no cost but love offerings will be accepted.

Red Oak United Methodist Church
The church will sponsor the Red Oak Community Free Breakfast on Thanksgiving morning. Breakfast will be served at the church from 6 until 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, November 27 with sausage, eggs, grits, pancakes, coffee and orange juice. The breakfast is free and any donations received will go to support children literacy programs and to fight hunger world wide.

Red Oak Baptist Church
The church will hold its Hanging of the Greens Service on November 30 at 6:30 p.m. Share in the tradition of deocorations and learn what each decoration means to the spirit of Christmas. The church is located at 5515 Red Oak Road.
The church willhost a Red Oak Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 8 p.m. on November 30. The Red Oak Community will gather for the lighting of the First Annual Red oak Community Christmas Tree.

Fellowsip of Praise Church
The 5th annual Feed the Families Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday November 27th from 12 noon to 4 pm at Fellowship of Praise church located at 3201 Benvenue Road in Rocky Mount. Ebenezer PH Church
The church will host its Christmas Meet the Need event on December 17, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. Each year the church offers gifts for children and adults for needy families in the area. Mount Zion First Baptist Church

Gillfield Missionary Baptist Church
The church will hold an 8 a.m. morning service on Thanksgiving morning, November 27. The church is located at Highway 561 and Gillfield Loop Road in Wood.

First Christian Church
The Community is invited to come out for some Christmas music, refreshments, fun, and shopping at the Christian Men’s Fellowship’s “Silent Auction” at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 8 in the Fellowship Hall at the left side of the church located at 1101 West Haven Boulevard, Rocky Mount. Items will include gift cards, and heavily discounted services, motel rooms, meals, and household items. Admission is one dollar for everything nand you can make an unlimited number of written bids.
