NASHVILLE - James “Jimmy” Earl Braddy, Sr., age 62, of Nashville, passed away on January 4, 2014.
A funeral service was held at Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro on Saturday, January 11, 2014. He was born on March 18, 1951 in Halifax County to the late Julius and Hazel Braddy.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Alton and Joe Braddy.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Margaret Braddy; four children, James Braddy Jr. and fiancé Amber, Katie Braddy Shay, Stephanie Braddy Boone and husband Tracy, and Jonathan Braddy; six grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Cooper, Edith Braddy and Glenda Owens; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
