ROCKY MOUNT –- Edward Lee Batts, 74, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013.
 A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held  held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Greater Mount Hermon in Rocky Mount. The Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount.
