Debbie Ellis, 61, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. She was born August 5, 1952 to Rev. Preston and Rebecca Lane.  She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Preston Edgar Lane.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tom Ellis; daughters, Abbe Christopher and husband Mathew, Stacy Ingle and husband Jason and Callie Ellis; three grandchildren; brother, Phillip Lane and a sister, Sandy Owens.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Good News Advent Christian Church from 7-9 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good News Advent Christian Church, 7000 Holdens Cross Rd., Stantonsburg, NC 27883 or a random act of kindness may be performed in her memory
