Mary Ruth Mooneyhan Radford, Peggy, 82, passed passed away on Thursday, April 04, 2013.

She was born on September 1, 1930 in Nash County.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James Porter Mooneyhan and Rosaleigh Ramsey, 3 brothers; James, Lloyd and Henry Mooneyhan, 1 sister; Margaret Winstead and husband, Fred I Radford.

She is survived by her son, Larry H Smith of Rocky Mount and her daughter, Donna Travis of Oregon, 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
