Jesse Clyde Pridgen, age 96 passed away on March 9, 2013 at his home in Rocky Mount.

Jesse was preceded in death by his wife Lettie Pearl Pridgen, son William Clyde Pridgen and daughter–in-law Linda Hendrix Pridgen.

He is survived by 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother Bunyan “Bunt” Pridgen all of Rocky Mount.

A funeral service was held March 11, 2013 at 3 pm at the Falls of the Tar Primitive Baptist church with the Rev Autry Pridgen with the interment following in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Military Honors.
