Willie “Bank” Franklin Parrish, Sr., age 86, of Greenville, passed away March 10, 2013, in Vidant Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Parrish.

He is survived by one son, Willie Franklin Parrish, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Hilda Parrish of Greenville; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Parrish of Knightdale and Oliver Parrish of Knightdale.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, Rocky Mount, NC, with the Reverend Allen Ayscue officiating. Interment   followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
