Christine G. Edwards, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Born in Nash County on April 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Griffin and Pattie Winstead Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Curtis Edwards; brother, Roscoe Griffin and son-in-law Thomas Outlaw.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Outlaw and son John Curtis Edwards Jr.; two granddaughters; one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held February 10, 2017 at at Momeyer Baptist Church. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
