Karen J. Lewis, age 60, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Born in Wayne County, MI on October 19, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Daniel James McGill and surviving mother, Erma Hobbs McGill.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Douglas Wayne Lewis; son, Jason Wayne Lewis of Jacksonville; her mother, Erma Hobbs McGill of Boone; and brother, Daniel K. McGill of TN.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Boone.
