Nancy Elizabeth Carr, 83, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born March 26, 1933 to the late Albert Counsil Carr and Bettie Breedlove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Carr Jr., Johnny Eugene Carr, Benjamin F. Carr and Marsh Clifton Carr; sisters, Mary C. Evans, Bessie C. Evans, Sarah C. Strickland and Amanda C. Bishop; two nephews and one niece.

She is survived by her brothers, Howard P. Carr (Katie), Phil J. Carr and Ralph S. Carr; sisters, Tempa Plaitt, Polly C. Dority and Marie C. Moore (Herbert); numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corinth Baptist Church 2883 N. NC Hwy 58 Nashville, NC 27856.
