Grace Coley Pittman of the West Mount Community passed away August 27, 2015. She was born August 22, 1933 in Battleboro. She was the 6th child of 11 born to the late Obie and Eartie Brown Coley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Horace Pittman, an infant daughter, sisters Gladys Kelly, Nadine Wadsworth, Carolyn Snider and infant sister Ruth, brothers Earl, Alvin, Ray and Harold Coley.

She is survived by daughters Debbie Pridgen of Nashville and Glenda Carpenter of Sandy Cross; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Turner and Margaret Garrett of Rocky Mount.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
