Kathleen Ballard Muse, 80, of Havelock, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A funeral was held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at First United Methodist Church 324 Miller Blvd. Havelock with Rev. Nelson Hopkins officiating.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years James “Jim” A. Muse, Sr. of the home; three children James “Jimmy” Muse and wife Sharon of Havelock, Vicky Muse Hopkins and husband Nelson of Morehead City, and Rusty Muse and wife Lisa of Greenville, SC; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters Jean McLain of Cape Gerardeau, MO, Harriet Brown of Mobile, AL, and Martha Jones of Muncie, IN.
She is preceded in death by her parents Collie and Elizabeth Ballard, brothers Collie “Junior” Ballard and John Worth Ballard.
