David Randall Winstead passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. A funeral service Monday, April 21, 2014 with a visitation to follow. Graveside services were held April 22.
 He was born on March 25, 1959, to David E. and Peggy Carey Winstead.
 He is survived by his son Tyler Winstead, of Wilson; his sister Kim Winstead, of Suffolk, VA; his fiancé, Melinda B. Bottoms, of Wilson; Brenten Bottoms and his fiancé, Madison Cauley, both of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, David E. and Peggy Carey Winstead.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557.
