HERBERT “BUD” JORDAN PENDERGRASS, JR.
NASHVILLE –- Herbert “Bud” Jordan Pendergrass, Jr., passed away, Thursday, April 4, 2013. He was born December 16, 1936 in Nash County to the late Herbert, Sr. and Elizabeth Harper Pendergrass. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by , two sons, Tony and Glenn Pendergrass, two daughters, Lisa Dawn Pendergrass and Laura Hadnott, two sisters, Becky Jones Roberson and Delbra Pendergrass.

Survivors include his  wife of 35 years, Patricia Lester Pendergrass, three sons, Bobby Glen Pendergrass of Nashville, Herbert “Little Bud” Jordan Pendergrass III of Castalia, Stephen Craig Pendergrass of Nashville, two brothers, Wayne Pendergrass of Nashville and Randy Pendergrass of OK, four sisters, Louise Wilson of Nashville, Brenda Leonard of Nashville, Ora lee Alford of Rocky Mount and Molly O’Neal of Swansboro, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Chaplain Anna Perry officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
