James Warren Blackburn, 80, passed away on March 8, 2013. He was born March 6, 1933 to the late Fred and Faye Blackburn. He was also preceded in death by his brother and two sisters, Herbert Blackburn, Dorothy Pridgen and Marie Bass.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diania Blackburn; two sons, Warren Blackburn Jr. and wife Melody, Jeff Blackburn and wife Tonya; two daughters, Deborah Hill and husband Wayne, Renee Taylor and husband Mack; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
