Carter Bland, 64 of Bailey, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.
A funeral was held Friday, September 28, 2012 at Bailey Methodist Church, Deans Street, Bailey. Burial was at St. Paul Church of Christ Cemetery, Emit.
He is survived by his sons, Corey Bland (Angela) of Stantonsburg, Anthony Eugene Bland (Teresa) of Oklahoma; special friend, Barbara Bullock of Bailey; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda B. Harris of Knightdale, Brenda B. (Ben) Pulley of NJ, Glenda B. Howard of Raleigh, Evelyn Gail (Larry) Dunn of Zebulon; brothers, Bernes Bland and Carson Bland (Judy) of Bailey, Walter W. Bland of Middlesex; aunts, an uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.
